Rob Mermin & Sara McMahon team up for Movement & Fun at November 11th's Cafe
October 15, 2017
Montpelier Memory Cafe Saturday, November 11th 10 AM-11:30 AM at Montpelier Senior Activity Center
Guests: Rob Mermin and Sara McMahon
Veteran dance instructor and psychotherapist Sara McMahon teaches Movement for Parkinson's classes throughout Vermont. She returns to Memory Cafe with Ron Mermin to demonstrate more ways to keep our minds and bodies active through gentle exercise.
Rob Mermin, founder of Circus Smirkus, will co-teach with Sara, leading us in fun, engaging movement activities that apply to anyone experiencing movement difficulties, their families, and their friends!
The Cafe is a social gathering where people in early to mid-stage memory loss disorders, and their care partners, can come together to connect and support one another in a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere. We ask that persons living with dementia be accompanied by a care partner. Admission is free.
